plagiarizer - easyliving

I have found and reported a few discussions by easyliving today. I remembered reading one of his discussions somewhere else, so I checked a couple of others out and they were also pliagiarized.

I am sure that this user has more plagiarized discussions since I only checked three and all three were stolen from other sources. You might want to check more of them...

plagiarizer and Spammer akunz81

After coming across two very similar posts by Mylot user akunz81 this evening, I had a closer look. It seems that there are quite a few instances where this member writes several short discussions on the same general topic, all taken from the same source.

Member akunz81 is plagiarizing these discussions and spamming the site with one after the other. I am sure that there are a lot more since this member is turning out one post after the other, but these are just a few that I have checked. It's late and I have to get some sleep, so I hope that someone else will have some time to help out with this member. His profile is here:

Spamming - 34momma

If you look at the responses that 34momma has been making lately, you will find that most of them are identical, and almost all of them are spamming a referral link for one of her income opportunities. I have reported about a dozen of her duplicate responses, but there are more of them left to report.

I found these after she hit one of my discussions with her spam. Her response is pasted here so you know what to look for. (I changed the referral link to my own in case anyone wants to sign up.)

Like I said, I have only gone through a dozen or so of her responses and found that all of them were identical to the one above. I have reported the ones that I read, but I'm sure that if there were this many that there are likely many more.

plagiarizer - relations

MyLot member relations frequently uses the "this happened to one of my friends" approach. She steals the subject line, and then includes various responses as part of her opening discussion.

Since there are additional pages of responses to discussions about coffee, I would assume that these are probably more of the same. If you care to go further into his responses, you will find many pages of responses about mac and PC computers. You will want to look into them as well, because I'm sure that you will find a similar pattern there. This is followed by a section on ipods, followed by winamp, followed by instant messenger, windows vista, and maybe more before that...

I went back through 36 pages of his responses and saw only one response that didn't fit this profile...

plagiarizer - alonaz continues

MyLot member alonaz continues to spam the site with multiple pages of plagiarized posts despite the fact that many were reported and removed by myLot a couple of months ago. You can find a list of the ones reported and removed here.

His posts are stolen directly from answers.yahoo.com and can easily be found by typing his subject line into the search box on the yahoo site. The first search result will be identical, including the typos. This is a simple case of copy & paste plagiarism.

Check these out for yourself, and report a few while you are there. I don't know why myLot would allow such actions to continue, but maybe if enough members speak out, he will be stopped.

Spamming - punkish

MyLot member punkish has been spamming the site with multiple posts on the same topics. As you can see this isn't a one time, or accidental thing. He has done this repeatedly.
